Tyler Bird is an aspiring audio engineer attending Middle Tennessee State University with hopes of one day owning his own studio. Tyler was born in Louisville KY at the ripe age of 0. He attended Kentucky Country Day for elementary, middle, and high school. He started playing drums in the 6th grade and joined a band, which he played with until the age of 18, picking up several more instruments along the way. It was with this band that he had his first experiences with a recording studio and instantly fell in love. In high school, when it was time to pick a college and get an idea of a future career he was lost, unsure of what his life would hold for him. One day a family member discovered Middle Tennessee State University, which actually had a recording industry program, where Tyler’s homework would be recording. It sounded like a perfect match. Upon visiting the university he was sold, ready to enroll. Three years later Tyler has been granted candidacy into the program and has begun his upper division classes and his minors, entrepreneurship and electronics. Since freshman year of college, Tyler has slowly been collecting recording equipment and has his own home studio. He has started recording bands and plans to eventually open his own studio and fulfill his professional dreams.
