Child Development Associate (CDA) Once a student has completed the orientation sessions and continues to work in child care, he or she becomes eligible for financial assistance in college classes that can help prepare the student for assessment as a Child Development Associate (CDA). TECTA is one of the handful of programs that offers college credit for CDA training. See the Career Lattice for listing of classes and additional information.
