The Colorado Historical Society, Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (SHPO) offers some material to educators relating to historic architecture, national register properties, historic farms, community history, and historic sites. Several publications are available. The Colorado Historical Society has an Education Director, who is not a part of the SHPO, but does provide heritage education materials, tours, workshops, teacher programs, and traveling trunks. The State Historical Fund funds many grant programs related to heritage education. Contact
