TAS Networks Program

The Tennessee Academy of Science is a valuable resource for K-12 science education. There are currently over 100 members willing to volunteer their time and communicate directly with your class via the internet. These scientists feel that personal communication is an important part of a child's science education. With the technology available today, this communication can be efficient and fun.
The extent to which you use the TAS Networks Scientists is up to you. This can range from a simple e-mail question and answer, to web page visits and exchanges of images, graphs, or sounds, to classroom visitations.

How do you contact a TAS Networks Scientist? Simply visit the

TAS Membership Database

At this site you can search for scientists who participate in the Networks Program. When you e-mail the Networks Scientist of your choice, please also send a copy to: Drs. Daley and Kesler (see below)

Does this cost anything? No. This is a volunteer activity sponsored by the Tennessee Academy of Science.
