Have your students brain storm in small groups what qualities they would like to have people writing letters of recommendation say that they have. Discuss what they will have to do now to enable people to say that.

Have students discuss in small groups how they came to the decision about their major. Discuss the pressures of being undeclared.

Complete steps 1-4 the Career Exploration and write a summary of each step.

Find 3 sites on the internet about your career and three separate sites about businesses/schools in your field.

Interview someone in a position you would someday like to have. What is his/her educational background? Write a career biography or timeline for this person.

Obtain, if you can, the resume of someone in your chosen field.

Write an imaginary cover letter.

Write a letter of recommendation for yourself.
