Bookstacks, located on the second, third, and fourth floors of the library, contain the almost 700,000 volumes of the library's book collection. Library floor plans on each floor show which parts of the collection are shelved on each floor. Also, when looking up a book in the library's online catalog, the library user will be directed to which floor his/her book is shelved.

Scholar workstations are located at the front of the Book Stacks. These workstations have the same access and capabilities at the computers in the Electronic Information Center.
