 WebCT Support for Faculty

WebCT is the world's leading provider of e-learning systems for educational institutions. WebCT is very established with over 2200 colleges and universities in more than 70 countries worldwide. In fact WebCT is used by more institutions throughout the world than any other course management system.

WebCT can support learning along a wide spectrum that extends from face to face courses enhanced by a web presence, to courses with both face-to-face and online components, to full online courses where all interaction takes place within the WebCT environment.

WebCT courses can be developed completely “from scratch” by faculty members from their own resources. An alternative especially suited to faculty members just getting started with e-learning is the use of content resources developed in WebCT-friendly format by
any of the 20 leading academic publishers. WebCT e-Learning Resource Packs, or “e-Packs,” deliver fully customizable online course materials. Combined with the functionality of WebCT's course management software, e-Packs make it easy for instructors to start teaching online without the effort involved in the creation or original content.
