Issues
- Pop-up blocker is installed. User is given a notification by sound and the Microsoft Explorer information bar will be displayed near the top of the user’s window confirming the blocked Pop-up.

- Solution one disable the Pop-up Blocker:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Under the Tools menu, select Internet Options...
- Click on the Privacy Tab
- Un-check the box next to Block pop-ups

- Click OK
- b. Solution two if you want to keep the Pop-up blocker active but allow WebCT pop-ups :
- Open Internet Explorer
- Under the Tools menu, select Pop-Blocker
- Pop-up Blocker settings…
- Under address of Web site to allow: type in https://mtsu30.mtsu.edu

- Click the add button
- Downloading of files is blocked. User is given a notification by sound and the Microsoft Explorer information bar will be displayed near the top of the user’s window confirming the file was blocked.
- Solution one - Use the Microsoft Explorer information bar to selectively allow the file to download. Click the information bar and select “Download file..”

- Solution two – To permanently allow file downloads.
- Open Internet Explorer
- Under the Tools menu, select Internet Options...
- Select the Security tab
- Click on the “Custom Level” button.
- Set “Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls”, “Automatic Prompting for file downloads” and “File download” to “Enable”.
