Using WebCT > Converting Powerpoint to PDF

How to create a PDF handout for a PowerPoint presentation using Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0.

  1. Open the PowerPoint presentation you wish to save as a PDF.

  2. Choose Print from the File Menu.

  3. Choose Adobe PDF as the printer

  4. Specify the layout you want to save "print" as a PDF. In this case we are making handouts that display three slides on each page and lines beside each slide for taking notes. We could also choose to print in color or grayscale. Click the OK button once you have made your selections.

  5. Choose a location to save the file and verify the filename. Click the Save button.

  6. When Adobe has finished "printing" your PDF file it will display it. Close Adobe Acrobat when you are finished viewing the newly created PDF.
