- Step 1 Student Homepage Access
- Click the Student Homepage icon on one of your course pages or find the link to Student Homepages on the Course Menu.
This is the default icon for the student homepages. Your instructor may have chosen a different icon.
- Step 2 Select Your Name
- Click your name.
- Step 3 Customize Page Colors
- Click Customize page color.
- Step 4 Updating Customization
- Select one of the color schemes and click the Update button.
- Step 5 Edit/Add Upper Textblock
- Click Edit/Add upper textblock.
- Step 6 Adding Your Information
- Click the HTML editor button.
- Type information that you would like to share with your classmates into the textblock area
- Click the Update.button.
- Step 7 View page
An example of what our homepage should look like so far is at the right.
Step 8 Modify/Add Banner
- Click Modify/Add banner image.
- Step 9 Adding a Banner
- Select Upload a file and click Continue.
- Step 10 Uploading a File
- Click Browse
The Choose file dialog box will appear
- Click the Look in: drop down arrow to select the drive the image is in.
- Click the image and then click Open.
- Click Continue.
- Step 11 View Page
Create a hyperlink on your page (link to other pages, websites or images)
- Step 1 Add A Link
If you have a website already created you can place a hyperlink on your student homepage to go to your website.
- Click Add link.
- Step 2 Adding the URL
- Type UNC-Charlotte in the title box
(Change this to MTSU)
- Type www.mtsu.edu in the URL box.
- Click Add.
- Step 3 View the Finished Product
After you have clicked the Add button your student homepage will be completed.
