There are several ways that an instructor could ask for an assignment; the WebCT Mail system, the Students Presentations tool, the Discussions area, or the Assignments Tool itself.
- Step 1 The First Screen
From this screen you can see the name of the assignment, when the drop box will be available, the due date, whether or not it has been submitted, and what grade you received out of a specified amount of points.
- Click on the Title link
- Step 2 Instruction Screen
When you click on an assignment title you will typically see instructions for completing the assignment at the top of the page. The instructor may or may not allow late or multiple submissions, WebCT will not tell you this information, they leave that up to the instructor to tell you.
- 1. If you are ready to turn in your work click Upload file.
- Step 3 Upload
- Click Browse to find your file.
- Step 4 Choose File
- Click on the assignment file and confirm that it shows in the Filename dialog box.
- Click Open
- Step 5 Upload 2
Confirm that the correct file appears in the Filename field once you are back at the Upload File screen.
- Click Upload.
- Step 6 Not Done Yet
Select the assignment file that needs to be submitted.
- Click Submit assignment.
- Step 7 Confirmation Screen
- Click OK.
- Step 8 Submission Confirmed
The Assignment Submission Confirmed screen is displayed. The Sumbissions area contains information about retrieval and
re-submissions.
Note:You can tell if you have submitted an assignment by displaying the Assignments screen and checking the Status area.
