What steps can I take to make sure I can access my WebCT course?
1) To make sure you have the best WebCT experence you need to configure your browser settings in 8 easy steps.
2) Install virus protection on your computer:
3) Install spyware protection on your computer.
4) Have a backup browser installed on your computer. Often viruses and spyware can mess up your primary browser so it is a good idea to have another WebCT approved browser installed on your system.

5) Keep Your Microsoft Windows Software Updated.
If you are using Microsoft Windows operating system, to prevent malicious programs from taking advantage of known security holes, make sure you have the latest updates from Microsoft:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Tools then Windows Update.
- Follow the online instructions.
Note: If you installed Windows Service Pack 2 you will need to turn off the pop-up blocker.
